This is the man who killed Nick Adenhart, his name as we said before is Andrew Thomas Gallo. He crashed his red van into the car that Courtney Stewart was driving.

Andrew Thomas Gallo was previously arrested on DUI charges. It seems that this man never learned to drive properly. Back in 2006 Gallo wrote:

"I understand that if I continue to drink and drive it may result in death or serious bodily injury to another person."

Cops think that Gallo was again driving under the influence.

Courtney Stewart

Along with Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart was the other fatal victim of yesterday’s car accident which left the Angels pitcher dead.

Stewart was the one driving the Mitsubishi that Andrew Thomas Gallo hit. Right now, Andrew Thomas Gallo is held in custody and faces charges of hit and run and possibly more. Let’s remember that Gallos left the scene and police caught him later.

Courtney Stewart died instantly after the car crash while Nick Adenhart remained alive and died during surgery at the hospital. Nick’s family issued this statement:

“Nick’s family expresses sincere gratitude for all the help the Angels have provided. He lived his dream and was blessed to be part of an organization comprised of such warm, caring, and compassionate people. The Angels were his extended family. Thanks to all of Nick’s loyal supporters and fans throughout his career. He will always be in everyone’s hearts forever.”

Nick Adenhart Angels rookie pitcher has shocked Maryland, the place where he was born. Nick had just started playing with the baseball team. The town of Williamsport is deeply hurt about the loss of the young Angels pitcher.

"This is a day that is beautiful, but you just want to forget it," said Rod Steiner, who coached Adenhart at Williamsport High School. "You go the bed happy for the kid, and then wake up and you can't imagine this is going to happen to a pro-athlete, but it happens every day to regular people."

Nick Adenhart Angels team will psotpone today's game as a sign of respect to him. his coach also said that Nick knew that where he was headed was nothing like high school and was prepared for it. Other people who knew him also spoke to the press.
